Features of the Web Telephony Engine

Web Telephony Engine (WTE) uses the Web-browser component of Microsoft® Internet Explorer to access applications and render them over the telephone. Essentially, WTE is Internet Explorer with a telephony user interface (TUI) added and the graphical user interface (GUI) turned off. The engine is designed primarily to render pages of Web telephony applications—it cannot render any and all Web pages.
