Installing the Audio Driver
If your Web telephony configuration does not use the IP device or a modem that is integral to Windows 2000, you must install the audio (wave) driver.
To install the audio driver
- Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Hardware, and then click Next.
- Click Add/Troubleshoot a device, and then click Next.
- Select Add a new device from the Devices list, and then click Next.
- Click No, I want to select the hardware from a list, and then click Next.
- Click Sound, video, and game controllers, and then click Next.
- Click Have Disk, and then click Browse. Find the .inf file for the associated driver.
Note In many cases, the audio driver is automatically installed when you install the voice board.
