Web Telephony Events

The onselectionerror and onselectiontimeout events are fired only by the WTE. They are not fired by Internet Explorer.

The onselectionerror event fires when a caller makes a data-entry error, such as pressing a non-valid DTMF key for a menu or control. The onselectiontimeout event fires when a caller waits too long to make a selection. The FirstTimeoutInterval and InterTimeoutInterval configuration properties determine the amount of time that a caller has to make a selection

For more information, see Handling Time-outs and Non-valid Keys and Confirming the Selection.
