The WTE maintains a set of configuration parameters that control the logging behavior of all WTE applications in an array. The configuration parameters determine the name, format, and location of the log file, the frequency with which new log files are created, and the fields that get written to the log.
There are two ways to set the configuration parameters for WTE logging. An administrator can view and set the logging configuration parameters through the user interface (UI) provided by the WTE administration tool (see the documentation for the WTE administration tool). A third-party developer can access the configuration parameters programmatically through the WTELog object of the WTE administration object model.
