SRMode.Dialect Property

The Dialect property retrieves the name of the dialect specific to the language. For example, "Texas" or "New York City."

Syntax

[ sName = ] SRMode.Dialect

Possible Values

sName
String specifying the name of the dialect.

This property is read-only.

Remarks

Dialect strings can be anything. This member can be "Standard" (or its localized equivalent) for the dialect used by news media.

Requirements

  Windows NT/2000: Requires Windows 2000.
  Windows 95/98: Unsupported.
  Header: Declared in Mswtecom.idl and Mswtecom.h.
  Library: Use Mswtecom.lib.
