There are a number of components installed with IIS that your application can call upon to perform a wide variety of tasks to enhance your Web site. However, the real advantage of using these components is that, because they run on the server and send to the client browser only normal HTML, any reasonably current Web browser will be able to display the results. The examples below demonstrate how to access these components, and show some simple situations in which they can be used.
