save Method

This sample will demonstrate how the save method can be used with objects persisting via the userData behavior.

Enter a value in the INPUT field below and click the "Save and Leave" button. You will be taken to a blank page with an option to return. This process will persist the data. Upon return, click the "Load" button to restore the attribute saved into an XML store. Note that before the save method is used, the setAttribute method is used.
