SYMPTOMS
When you are using the publishing features of FrontPage with large amounts
of Web data, the WWW service may stop responding (hang), or the Windows NT
Server computer may run out of virtual memory.
CAUSEThis is caused by a gain in the allocated memory used by the Inetinfo process. This problem has been reproduced only on SMP dual Pentium 200- megahertz computers. RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, use one of the following methods:
METHOD 1Upgrade to the latest version of the FrontPage 98 Server Extensions. You can download the extensions at the following World Wide Web location:http://www.microsoft.com/frontpage/wpp METHOD 2Use the FrontPage Server Administrator to disable authoring on a port. This prohibits use of the FrontPage server extensions until the administrator running the server re-enables authoring.METHOD 3Disable one of the processors. For instructions on this procedure, please refer to your hardware documentation.METHOD 4Disable the FrontPage server extensions using the following procedure:

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article. This issue has been addressed in
FrontPage 98.
