SYMPTOMSIf you attempt to use NCSA input file to convert an Internet Protocol (IP) address to a Domain Name Server (DNS) name, the Convlog tool may stop processing the file. CAUSEThis problem can occur if the IP address is resolved to a short DNS name (for example, 194.191.178.65 is resolved to ns.sv.fr). RESOLUTION
A supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from
Microsoft, but has not been fully regression tested and should be applied
only to systems experiencing this specific problem. If you are not
severely affected by this specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you
wait for the next Windows NT service pack.
