SUMMARYNone of the Microsoft Message Queue Server (MSMQ) 1.0 components that come on the Windows NT 4.0 Server Enterprise Edition installation CD will install and run directly on a computer running Windows 3.x. MORE INFORMATION
Windows 3.x users and applications can access an MSMQ network through one
of several interfaces offered. For example, with the Exchange Connector
installed, a Windows 3.x user can use the 16-bit Exchange Client to send
e-mail to an MSMQ application. For application-to-application
communication, you can write a custom MSMQ Connector application that
communicates directly with a custom Windows 3.x application, then translate
the requests into MSMQ messages.
