SYMPTOMS\MSMQ\Storage Directory accumulates Rnnnnnn.MQ files. Express message files are not deleted when the MSMQ service is restarted. Although these files are removed on normal shutdown, a crash or a power down might leave the files on disk. This causes disk storage space to be consumed and never released. CAUSEThis is by design for debugging purposes. RESOLUTION
The MSMQ Service now deletes all express message files. Express message storage files are of the form Rnnnnnnn.MQ.
