SUMMARYWhen you use Anonymous account to log in to a standard FTP server, and for identification purposes, the server requests a password consisting of your Internet e-mail address (User@domain.org). This password is filled in automatically by the Web Proxy service when a web browser is used to connect to an FTP site. MORE INFORMATION
Many web browers log into FTP sites automatically without asking for a
username and password. Some FTP sites require a full e-mail address before
they allow an anonymous log in. The Web Proxy service uses the domain
portion of the host name of the local computer for the domain portion of
the e-mail address.
