  • When you try to stop or start the Web Proxy Service via the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) on a computer running Internet Information Server 4.0 and Proxy Server 2.0.

  • When you try to stop or start the Web Proxy Service or WWW service on a computer running Internet Information Server 3.0 and Proxy Server 2.0.

CAUSE

This problem occurs due to corruption in the process heap.
