Small Business Server Error: The Data Area Passed to the System is Too Small

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to change user permissions using the Small Business Server Printer Wizard, you may encounter the following error:

The Data Area Passed to the System is Too Small. Permissions will not be changed.

RESOLUTION

Use the Printer Wizard and attempt to change permissions again. Permissions should be changed on another attempt.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
