SUMMARYThe new Small Business Server Client License Add Pack disk has both the Alpha and the x86 setup programs on it. This disk has a folder that is named Alpha and an executable file called Setup.exe. The Setup.exe file on the root of the disk is used for x86 systems. This can be confusing because the Alpha folder is present but it also contains a Setup.exe program. A Small Business Server Alpha system will automatically use the setup program in the Alpha folder while an x86 system will use only the Setup.exe file. To install the licenses, the customer should use the "About Microsoft BackOffice Small Business Server" link on the Administrative console. This link loads the screen with an Add Licenses link. This link will allow the proper installation of the licenses. MORE INFORMATIONThis disk has been created to replace two separate disk: one for the x86 Client License Add Pack and one for the Alpha Client License Add Pack. By replacing these two disks with one disk, customers will only need to order one part number, which is intended to be used once on either an Alpha or x86 system.
