SYMPTOMSWhen you install Small Business Server (SBS) on a computer that has a video card that only supports low resolutions, the screen will become unreadable or unusable. You have to reboot to VGA mode to use the system. CAUSEBy default, the SBS installation sets the video to 800 x 600 x 16 colors at 60 Hz. RESOLUTIONEither update the computer to a video card that supports a higher resolution, or, after restarting, select to start to VGA mode and set the resolution manually. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft BackOffice Small Business Edition.
