SBS: ICW Leaves Phone Book Entry Used to Get to Signup

SYMPTOMS

After you complete the signup procedure for Internet connectivity, the Internet Connection Wizard will sometimes leave the phone book entry for the number used to get to the signup.

CAUSE

This is currently under investigation.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, manually delete the unneeded phone book entry.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
