SYMPTOMSWhen you install a fax printer, it may not be displayed in the Manage Faxes tool in the BackOffice Small Business Server (SBS) console. In addition, when you create new users or modify user permissions with the Add User Wizard, the list of shared fax printers may be incomplete. CAUSEThis behavior can occur if you log on as a user who does not have appropriate permissions for the fax printer. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue:
STATUSThis problem was corrected in Small Business Server 4.5. MORE INFORMATIONIn SBS 4.5, if you use the SBS Console Wizard to remove all users' access privileges to a printer, the following warning message is displayed: No warning message is displayed in SBS 4.0 or 4.0a.
