Microsoft BackOffice Small Business Server versions 4.0, 4.0a, 4.5
SUMMARY
BackOffice Small Business Server (SBS) has the ability to notify you of successful fax attempts with e-mail notification. This feature is enabled by default in SBS 4.5.
There are instances when the SBS Fax service sends e-mail notification of an unsuccessful fax attempt. However, not all unsuccessful fax jobs result in e-mail notification, and if the SBS Fax client does not properly spool the fax job to the SBS Fax service, no e-mail error notice is generated.
MORE INFORMATION
The following examples are possible unsuccessful fax jobs and the resulting e-mail notification message. There may be other instances that result in e-mail notification that are not listed here.
