SUMMARYSmall Business Server (SBS) includes the standard Microsoft Windows NT Disk Administrator tool. You can use this tool to change the drive letter of the boot partition, but doing so can cause problems. If SBS is installed on drive C and you change the drive letter for drive C to some other letter, several services in SBS stop working, although the operating system itself does start. MORE INFORMATIONThe following services stop working when you change the drive letter as described above: The MSDTC ServiceTo resolve this issue, change the drive's letter from the current drive letter back to the original letter, and then restart the computer. NOTE: Programs that are hard-coded to use drive C instead of the Expand_SZ %SystemRoot% parameter also do not work when you change the drive letter. This behavior applies to installed client programs as well.
