SYMPTOMSAfter you remove and reinstall the Microsoft Outlook 2000 Team Folders Wizard, you receive the following error message when you attempt to create a Team Folder Application within a Team Workspace:
CAUSEThis behavior is caused by removing the Outlook 2000 Team Folders Wizard by using the Add/Remove Programs tool. Team Productivity Update (TPU) depends on the Team Folders Wizard to create Team Folder Applications within the workspaces. During TPU Setup, two registry values are changed. When you remove and reinstall the Team Folders Wizard by using the Add/Remove Programs tool in Control Panel, these registry values are not configured as TPU expects. RESOLUTIONWARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that
may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot
guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor
can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
