SYMPTOMSWhen the Team Folder Applications page is displayed during Team Productivity Update (TPU) Setup, you are prompted to type a path to the public folder that you manually created for the Team Folder applications. When you type a path name, the Team Folder applications may not be added to the public folders after Setup is finished. CAUSE
This behavior occurs if you type a character other than a backslash (\) in the path name. A valid public folder path name cannot include invalid characters, such as slash marks (/), semicolons (;), and so on.
Applications\TPU\TPUTeamFolderAppsThe following example shows an incorrect path name: Applications/TPU:TeamFolderApps RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, use either of the following methods: Method 1WARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.For information about how to edit the registry, view the "Changing Keys and Values" Help topic in Registry Editor (Regedit.exe) or the "Add and Delete Information in the Registry" and "Edit Registry Data" Help topics in Regedt32.exe. Note that you should back up the registry before you edit it. If you are running Windows NT, you should also update your Emergency Repair Disk (ERD). To resolve this problem, correct the incorrect public folder entry in the registry:
