SYMPTOMSWhen you try to log on to an MCIS Internet Locator Server (ILS), you may receive an "Access Denied" error message, or be prompted for a username and password. If this occurs, you are unable to connect. CAUSEWhen too many users are connected or trying to connect to an ILS and the server is having a problem processing the requests, it either returns an "Access Denied" error message or prompts the user to enter a username and password. WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, add additional system resources or shut down and restart the server. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Commercial Internet System (MCIS) Address Book Server version 1.0.
