SYMPTOMSWhen a user visits a Web site that has been set up under MCIS Membership Billing to charge a user a fee for accessing that specific HTML page, no warning is displayed to the user that his or her account will be charged if the user continues, and no billing event is created on the system. CAUSEWhen an administrator sets up this feature following the Membership Server documentation, the administrator registers the specific HTML pages that he or she wants to charge for, by using the Pricefile.asp file included with Membership Server. However, the .asp file fails to make an entry for this in the Billdata.txt file, and therefore Membership Server does not bill the user for accessing this page. RESOLUTIONAn updated Pricefile.asp file is available from Microsoft Technical Support to fix this problem. Contact Microsoft Technical Support to obtain this fix. Additional query words:
