CD: Password in MMC and User Manager Doesn't Synchronize

SYMPTOMS

Microsoft Management Console (MMC) Publishing or Webadmin may accept an invalid password for the default user account. As a result, the subsequent projects run under this user account and the password are aborted.

CAUSE

If the default user account has an incorrect password because the password has expired or the password has been changed through user manager, the MMC does not sense the changes.

WORKAROUND

If you change the password of your domain user account, you also must change the password in MMC.

To change your password, do the following:

1. Go to Publishing MMC.



2. Select the Server Name.



3. Right-click and select "Set Authentication".
