SYMPTOMSWhen issuing the command "pmadmin set instance", you may find that parameters that you did not specify in the command line will be reset. For example, "pmadmin set instance /ldapserver:servername" will reset the ldapport to 389. CAUSEPmadmin changes all available parameters. Parameters that are not specified in the command line are reset to hard-coded defaults. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, apply the latest Site Server 3.0 service pack. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Site Server version 3.0. This problem was corrected in the latest Microsoft Site Server version 3.0 U.S. Service Pack.
