SYMPTOMSWhen you run Search against a database, Search incorrectly returns the length of each row. The value for the length is off by a value of two of the actual row length. CAUSEThe lengths that the caller gets back from the fields in the row Sets, as returned by the WSTR length, includes the NULL terminator. This causes the length to be off by two. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, apply the latest Site Server 3.0 service pack. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Site Server version 3.0. This problem was corrected in the latest Microsoft Site Server version 3.0 U.S. Service Pack.
