Sort By Dimension Feature for Username Is Ignored

SYMPTOMS

When you run reports, the Sort By Dimension feature is ignored when requested for Username.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, apply the latest Site Server 3.0 service pack.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, add a field to the Custom Import file and duplicate the Username field. Use this field instead of the Username field when you build and sort the report.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Site Server version 3.0. This problem has been corrected in the latest U.S. service pack for Microsoft Site Server version 3.0.
