Share Is Removed when Search Catalog with Same Name is Created

SYMPTOMS

A previously created share is removed if a Search catalog with same name is created.

CAUSE

This behavior is by design.

WORKAROUND

To avoid this behavior, do not use a name for a Site Server Search catalog with the same name as a currently configured share.
