Report Writer Shows UAS Request and Visit Inconsistencies

ID: Q198109

The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Site Server version 3.0

SYMPTOMS

When you use Microsoft Site Server Report Writer, the number of hits are correct, but the visit count is incorrect. For example, Usage Import Server Manager is designed to configure with one LDS with two Servers, each with one Site. Server1 is configured for port 80 and Server2 is configured for port 443, both using the same home page URL and importing the logs. When a report is generated, visit counts report a lower value than they actually are.

CAUSE

Uas.exe visit counting is not processed correctly for Usage Analysis.
