SYMPTOMSWhen you import log files from a single log data source that contains multiple subwebs, the hit count report incorrectly assigns the values to the subwebs. CAUSEThe Usage Import module assigns hits based on the first pattern match found and does not continue looking for a "better" match. Therefore, if the root Web is listed first, all hits are assigned there, and the hit counts for the subwebs are all zero. RESOLUTIONThis problem has been resolved in Site Server 3.0 SP2. WORKAROUNDMove the root Web site to the bottom of the Log Data Source list. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Site Server 3.0. MORE INFORMATIONThe subweb is in a single directory below the root directory, for example: http://mysite --Root site Additional query words: incorrect assignment statistics report writer hit count
