SYMPTOMSSite Server 3.0 incorrectly sets up French word breaking and noise list handling by specifying 0x40B instead of 0x40C for the locale in a couple of areas. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, apply the latest Site Server 3.0 service pack. WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, replace: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Site Server\3.0\Search\Language\french_french\Locale = 1035 (DWORD)with HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Site Server\3.0\Search\Language\french_french\Locale = 1036 (DWORD)Note: 1035 changes to 1036. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Site Server version 3.0. This problem has been corrected in the
