Content Tagging May Cause High CPU Utilization

SYMPTOMS

Content tagging causes Inetinfo.exe to use 100 percent of the CPU when you upload an Acrobat PDF file using Posting Acceptor provided in Site Server 3.0.


CAUSE

Content tagging is stuck in an endless loop because of an unexpected final DBCS character in the file.


RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Site Server 3.0. For additional information, please see the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
