ID: Q234008

  • Microsoft Site Server version 3.0

SYMPTOMS

The expiration property for a member in a Site Server Membership group is not correctly displayed in the Membership Directory Manager (MDM) after you apply the post-SP2 fix described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

The expiration attribute can be properly set and retrieved through scripting; however, the MDM fails to show that an expiration date has been set for a member in a group.

MORE INFORMATION

MMC Information

If you use any of the following methods to display the expiration property, the MMC fails to show that a date has been set:

  • Open the properties of a user (cn=Administrator) in the ou=members container. Click the Group tab. The second column should display the Expire date.

  • Click the Group tab, select one of the groups, and then click the Expire button. If only one group is selected, the Expire date should be displayed.

  • Open the properties of a group (cn=Public) in the ou=groups container. Click the Members tab. Select a member and click the Expire button.
