SYMPTOMSWhen you use an HTML filter in Site Server Search, an application thread may stop responding and CPU utilization will approach 100 percent for IIS. This problem can occur when you are indexing HTML documents, including Microsoft Office 2000 documents. CAUSEThe HTML filter loops infinitely in some cases.
