Site Server Usage Analysis Returns Incorrect Results

• Microsoft Site Server version 3.0

SYMPTOMS

The Number of Request totals do not match for different row dimensions. For example, request totals for "by data" do not match request totals "by hour" for the same report period. Totals should not change for different row dimensions.

CAUSE

A code optimization error is causing the incorrect results.

RESOLUTION

After you install the fix, you need to clear the calculation cache by performing the following steps:

1. Start Report Writer.



2. Form the Tools menu, choose Options.



3. Click the Calculation tab.



4. Click Clear Cache Now.
