Usage Import Classifies Some Netscape Browsers as "Unknown Operating System"

SYMPTOMS

When viewing the Browser Detail report (Browserdetail.mfa) in Site Server Usage Analysis Report Writer, some browser clients are listed as an "Unknown Operating System".

CAUSE

Usage Import does not accurately identify some Netscape browsers.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Site Server 3.0. For additional information, please see the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
