Access Violation Occurs with Anonymous Cookie Authentication

SYMPTOMS

An Access Violation error may occur in Wldap32.dll or Extauth.dll when anonymous cookie authentication is enabled.

CAUSE

A small window exists where one thread can delete an LDAP message object before the object is marked as referenced by a different thread.

RESOLUTION
