SYMPTOMS

When installing the Trey Research sample site of Site Server 3.0, Commerce Edition, on a system running Windows 2000, the following error message appears:

Cannot set attribute description
Details:
Error: 80071392"

CAUSE

The is a harmless error message that occurs because there is a redundant addition of the optional Description attribute. This attribute has already been added to the folder prior to the installation of Site Server, Commerce Edition.

RESOLUTION

Ignore the error message.
