Membership Web-Based Administration Does Not Display Expiration Date

SYMPTOMS

The expiration property for a member in a Site Server Membership group is not correctly displayed in the Membership Directory Manager of Site Server's Web-Based administration utility after you apply the post-Service Pack 2 (SP2) fix.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Site Server 3.0. For additional information, please see the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

This problem was first corrected in Site Server 3.0 Service Pack 3.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior

  1. Using Web-Based Administration, select the Membership Directory Manager.


  2. Click Users.


  3. Click Group Management.


  4. Select a group.


  5. Click Members.


  6. Add a User to a group.


  7. Click Set Expiration.


  8. Set Expires on, and choose a date. For example, use February 1, 2003.


  9. Click Submit.


Alternate Steps to Reproduce Behavior

  1. Using Web-Based Administration, select the Membership Directory Manager.


  2. Click User Management.


  3. Select a User.


  4. Click Groups.


  5. Click Set Expiration.


  6. Set Expires on, and choose a date. For example, use February 1, 2003.


  7. Click Submit.
