Commerce Server Site Foundation Builder Wizard Grid Is Blank

• Microsoft Site Server version 3.0, Commerce Edition

SYMPTOMS

When you run the Commerce Server 3.0 Site Foundation Wizard, the grid control on the Instance.asp page that contains a list of available Web sites may be blank.

CAUSE

This can be caused if the Microsoft virtual machine on the Commerce Server is out of date.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, download the latest Microsoft virtual machine by performing the following steps:

1. Go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com.



2. On the Product Updates page, click to check the box next to Microsoft virtual machine.



3. Click the Download button at the top of the page.



4. Follow the instructions to download and install Microsoft virtual machine.
