WHOIS lookups in Microsoft Site Server 3.0 Usage Analysis may fail after Nov-30-1999.
CAUSEInternic has changed the whois servers from whois.internic.net to whois.networksolutions.com. UIMPORT.exe is hard coded to look specifically at whois.internic.net and therefore the majority of WHOIS lookups are failing as of Nov-30-1999. RESOLUTIONA supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but
it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems
experiencing this specific problem. If you are not severely affected by this
specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Site Server service pack
