SYMPTOMSWhen you use a Configuration Command Line in a Shared Package, the Program Group Control (PGC) fails with the following error: The PGC.LOG file in the MS\SMS directory on the client computer reports that the application is not set up correctly. WORKAROUNDWhen you specify a Configuration Command Line, you can use DOSETUP.EXE to run the installation program. DOSETUP provides a mechanism for running an installation program and for setting certain Systems Management Server registry status flags required by PGC. For more information, refer to the Systems Management Server 1.1 Release Notes. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Systems Management Server versions 1.0 and 1.1.
