SYMPTOMS

If you are using a Windows 95 client and are running the Novell NetWare 4.0 shell (VLM), and you change an application's screen characteristics (for example, its colors) while running Remote Control, only the text of the application will show, and the icons and text of the desktop will show through the application, even when the application is fully maximized.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Systems Management Server version 1.1. It has been fixed in Systems Management Server version 1.2.
