The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSA client computer running Windows 95 configured with Program Group Control (PGC) to automatically start may either stop responding when it is shut down (or restarted), or receive a "Fatal Exception 0D" error. CAUSERunning both Systems Management Server Program Group Control (Appctl95.exe) and Winpopup.exe simultaneously when the system starts causes this problem to occur. WORKAROUND
Smsrun16.exe runs Appctl95.exe. If it is also used to start Winpopup.exe,
it cannot start Appctl95.exe. To run both of these programs at startup,
make the following changes on the client computer running Windows 95:
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Systems Management Server version 1.2.
