Restrictive Windows NT account policies can prevent domain controllers from installing the Systems Management Server client. You set account policies in Windows NT User Manager for Domains by clicking Account on the Policies menu. NOTE: You may also see the error in the Client Configuration Manager (CCM) Ccm.log file or in the Systems Management Server Client Service Clisvc.log. To work around this problem, set the Minimum Password Age property to Allow Changes Immediately. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Systems Management Server version 2.0. This problem has been corrected in the
latest U.S. service pack for Systems Management Server version 2.0. For information on obtaining the service pack, query on the
