SMS: ODPSYS Refreshes Every 60 Minutes Regardless of Specified Interval

SYMPTOMS

The Systems Management Server 2.0 Advertised Programs Monitor Client Agent will poll every 60 minutes for new program advertisements even when configured to check at an interval greater than 60 minutes.

RESOLUTION

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Systems Management Server version 2.0. This problem has been corrected in the latest U.S. service pack for Systems Management Server version 2.0.
