Systems Management Server 2.0 SP1 32-bit Installer version 2.0.91 does not remove duplicate registry keys when you perform an uninstallation. This behavior occurs only when the package is compiled in 32-bit mode. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SOFTAPPx\When the same script is compiled in 16/32-bit mode, the uninstallation process removes both entries. RESOLUTIONA supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but
it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems
experiencing this specific problem. If you are not severely affected by this
specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Systems Management Server service pack
