SYMPTOMS
An implicit incoming Remote logical unit (LU) cannot be reset to "None"
with SNACFG, once it has been set to another value.
This will cause the following error message to appear:
Leaving the /IMPREMOTELU parameter blank causes the same error message. CAUSEInstead of removing the previous associated implicit remote LU, SNACFG tries to resolve the Name, which of course does not exist. RESOLUTIONSNA Server 3.0To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for SNA Server version 3.0. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft SNA Server version 2.11 Service Pack 2, 3.0, 3.0 Service Pack 1, 3.0 Service Pack 2, 3.0 Service Pack 3, 4.0, and 4.0 Service Pack 1.
