TPstart Fails to Run Applications if Path Name Contains Blanks

SYMPTOMS

TPstart fails to run TPs (Transaction Programs) that reside in a path containing blanks. For example, "c:\Program Files\...." would exhibit this problem.


RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for SNA Server version 4.0. For additional information, please see the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, move the transaction program to a path without spaces, or use the short file name (for example, progr~1).


STATUS
